Free advice

If you go to the Rich Hippie Store to buy some chocolate covered almonds, DO NOT leave them in the trunk of your car while you play golf. This advice should be heeded even if it is an especially mild August in Kansas.
So there you have it.

Maybe you could turn it into Chocolate Almond Fudge now?

Good idea. It still taste really good. HRC and I ate it from the bag (with a spoon) last night. How would I turn it into fudge? Microwave it?

Microwave Fudge Recipe

2 cups Miniature marshmallows
14 oz Can sweetened condensed milk
1 dash Salt
Your bag of chocolate broken or chopped into small pieces
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla

In 4 qt. glass measure, combine marshmallows, milk, and salt. Microwave on HIGH 3-4 minutes. Stir until marshmallows melt and mixture is smooth. Add your broken/chopped chocolate and stir until melted. Stir in vanilla.
Line 8 or 9 inch square pan with wax paper. Spread fudge evenly in pan. Chill 2 hours, until firm. Turn on to cutting board, peel off paper and cut into squares.
Serves 32

Thanks Anonymous for your help. I have carefully read the directions and am mildly convinced that I can do it. However, I have some serious concerns about the integrity of any instructions that ends with "Serves 32." I DON'T THINK SO! This tiny little bag of chocolate might serve me and one my imaginary friends. There is NO WAY it would serve 30 other real people. Even so, I really appreciate your help. :)

Remember, fudge is cut into LITTLE squares when it's done. If you take an 8" (not even a 9") pan and cut a 1" per piece checkerboard pattern, you're going to end up with 64 pieces. I think the recipe assumes a serving is 1 or 2 squares at a sitting, though there are people who'd overindulge (these are the types who'll eat a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's by themselves in one sitting). You should go for it.
