Four Old Crows

SACII comes to town for the weekend.  The Crow family celebrates by going to Por'e Richards (n/k/a the Kansan Grill) for steak and ice cream.

The next day, the same 4 Old Crows gather for Mother's Day lunch.

Dad turns 83

Dad was born on May 5, 1926. Today he is 83 years old. As is the tradition, his office staff throws a lunch party. Tons of people come. After all, red cake is on the menu.

Birthday dinner included Nancy and Lucas at the North Star Supper Club where I got this really nice picture of the Gs.Happy Birthday Dad.

May Basket

In the spirit of May Day, this morning I found this May Basket hanging from our front door knob.

Oma's walk-around phone

As in the past, when Oma's 4 year old walk-around phone needed a new battery, I searched for a replacement battery.  A new one cost $16.49

Instead of buying the battery, I stepped over to the phone aisle and found this brand new phone complete with new battery and numerous other useful features.  It cost $14.92

Go figure!

G & G to the horse auction

I drive the Gs to Linwood, Kansas so Granddad can not buy a horse at the auction.

Granny was very relieved.

Lucas goes to the Prom

While I was able to get a picture of Lucas before he left ...
