Oma's walk-around phone

As in the past, when Oma's 4 year old walk-around phone needed a new battery, I searched for a replacement battery.  A new one cost $16.49

Instead of buying the battery, I stepped over to the phone aisle and found this brand new phone complete with new battery and numerous other useful features.  It cost $14.92

Go figure!

G & G to the horse auction

I drive the Gs to Linwood, Kansas so Granddad can not buy a horse at the auction.

Granny was very relieved.

Lucas goes to the Prom

While I was able to get a picture of Lucas before he left ...

and the neighbors got one of him with Vittoria

I am still waiting for the promised pictures of Lucas and his date.

SRC and JRQ move to Hawaii

SRC and JRQ move to Hawaii (why not?) where they rent this snazzy condominium with an incredible view.  Lucky for us, we can now follow their adventures on their blog We Be Bloggers.

DWC goes to Georgia

During Master's week, DWC travels to Georgia for 144 holes of golf and 5 days of Oxley Family hospitality.

 

George turns 22

Helen and Lucas make him a 2 layer chocolate cake with chocolate chips and chocolate frosting and M&M's and served with triple chocolate ice cream.  7 degrees of chocolate.
